Dr. M.K. Kim is a Professor of Operations and Service Management at Hanyang University Business School. As the founding Director of CS2C, he leads initiatives to develop theory-grounded, data-driven, and actionable frameworks for achieving sustainable supply chains. His primary research interests include supply chain sustainability, supply network design strategies, and cross-sector collaboration between for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. His research, published in leading international journals, explores how organizations can implement ESG practices across their supply chains to enhance performance. As an educator, his teaching integrates supply chain sustainability and data analytics interventions, offering courses such as ESG Supply Chain Management (MBA), Statistical Analysis (graduate), and Supply Chain Analytics (undergraduate), where students learn to apply data-driven approaches to sustainable supply chain challenges. His dedication to innovative teaching was recognized with the Ralph E. Reitz Outstanding Teaching Award at Kansas State University.
